This training will cover the participant-centered models Friendship Place builds its service delivery upon. We will explore the history of services provided to people experiencing homelessness and how they have informed each generation of service providers to progressively place participants in the center of designing their own goals for recovery. We will take an in-depth look at the best practices and research base for the Housing First model, the growing standard in the homeless service field for producing long-term results.
This training is mandatory for all new staff members and open to the public.
