For 30 years, she has traveled the country as senior staff promoting the mission of organizations such as the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources, the National Association for Communiity Health Centers, and the National Association for College Admission Counseling to name a few.

As a member and component relations, marketing, and organizational stretagist, Talisa’s campaigns have helped organizations generate millions in dues and non dues revenue while building lucrative corporate support and member loyalty.

Today, Talisa uses her experience to do what she enjoys most — bringing visions to life. Through her company – The Center for Effective Organizations (The CEO) – she developes strategies, trainings, and plans to help organizations and individuals expand and achieve their goals. As an award winning speaker, she is motivational, informative and able to inspire new energy in teams. Her executive mentoring can help executives through transitions or guide individuals through ‘Personal Re-branding’ (ask about it!)

Talisa Thomas-Hall is a proud Toastmaster, founder of the Alexandria Brown Bag as well as her nonprofit venture, the Butterfly Wings Foundation which endeavors to  eradicate the the silence surrounding domestic violence. In her spare time, she can be found at a microphone near you…performing karaoke hits from the 80’s.

The Alexandria Brown Bag, founded and facilitated by Talisa Thomas-Hall, ACS ALB, THE ASSOCIATION WHISPERER, is a professional networking group that meets every month on the third Thursday of the month. Our meetings begin with networking at 11:30 a.m. and a professional development session beginning at noon and ending at 1:30 p.m.

Monthly sessions are presented by experts in the fields of membership development and engagement, marketing, business development, leadership skills and communication. The events are FREE and all are welcomed to attend. Early registration is encouraged. Bring your lunch and plenty of business cards. Free onsite and street parking are available.
