Come out to Kensington, MD for a time to relax, unwind and get away from the rush of city life! Join Jamila Anahata of The Soulful Veganista and Rida of Collectively Free DC for a safe place to create, eat, and play with like-minded people.
What kind of activities are we hosting in this space?
We will start with an outdoor yoga class (weather permitting), then group mindful eating (a delicious vegan food vendor will be joining us, and light refreshments will be provided), and a ton of creative time in between to work on the writing, art, dance, and music that you have been longing for. BYO art materials, yoga mat, and plate/utensils, if accessible and able to.
Nam Money has been trained in hatha yoga, including asana, yoga postures, pranayama, breath work, meditation, and plant-based nutrition. She will guide everyone through a slow flow, involving mindful breathing and flowing through basic yoga asanas. Beginner Friendly.
